The Psalty V is a Hatteras built 50ft sportfisher customized for your individual interest and needs. The vessel is equipped with two “emission friendly” 450hp engines. This translates into a fast, emission free trip. The control bridge is equipped with all updated equipment required for safe operation. Global Positioning Satellite VHF Radios, 48 Mile Radar, 1000 foot Color Bottom Sounder and Auto Pilot are just a few of the amenities. We also equip the vessel with state of the art First Aid Kit, Emergency Oxygen and an Automatic Emergency Defibrillators. All crew are current in First Aid and CPR as well as wet environment AED use. The Psalty V Name(from Book of Psalms)
The Psalty V name originates from Biblical Times. When Royalty looked to be entertained, they would summon the Psalter. The Psalter, whose nickname was the Psalty, was entertainer, musician and story teller.
The previous owner renamed the vessel from Diamond Lil to the Psalty
V. The P in Psalty is silent, with the Roman Numeral V (5) representing the number of members in his family. There you have it. The Psalty V.
